Faculty of Arts Holds “Campus Life” Orientation Day to Help New Students Settle into University Life 

The Faculty of Arts at Hong Kong Shue Yan University held its “Campus Life” orientation day on 27 August 2026. Dr Agnes Pang Suk Man, Associate Professor and Associate Head of the Department of History and Warden of the Research Complex residence, joined senior student helpers in welcoming new students entering Years 1 to 3. 

Student helpers led the new students on a tour of campus facilities, including a visit to the Department of History office. Through small-group discussions, Dr Pang and the student helpers introduced learning resources, offered study advice, and shared their experiences of residential life. These exchanges helped new students build peer support networks and become familiar with the University’s campus culture. Participants found the event informative and rewarding.
