Academic Lecture Co‑organized by the Department of Chinese Language and Literature and the Department of History, Hong Kong Shue Yan University

The Department of Chinese Language and Literature and the Department of History of Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) will jointly organize an academic lecture on 17 March 2026 (en.wikipedia.org) (history.hksyu.edu).

We are honoured to invite Dr Guohua Yang, Research Director at the School of Archaeology, University of Oxford, to deliver the lecture.

Dr Yang’s research spans archaeology, cultural heritage and museum studies, material culture, and the history of collecting. His work focuses particularly on Neolithic China, jade and ceramic technologies, and the social organisation of prehistoric societies.
