In an era in which Artificial Intelligence (AI) is profoundly reshaping the educational landscape, the humanities have not diminished in importance; rather, their significance has become increasingly evident. In response to the rapid development of digital technologies and to encourage educators to engage proactively with digital transformation, the Digital and Humanities Education Association, together with Education Network and the Shanghai-Hong Kong Development Institute, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Fudan University, jointly present the 2026 Outstanding Digital Humanities Teaching Plan Competition.

The Competition is co-organised by the following institutions:

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Department of Economics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Department of Curriculum and Instruction, The Education University of Hong Kong

Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Hong Kong Baptist University

 Theme

Humanistic Values and the Future Classroom in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

The Competition aims to solicit high-quality teaching plans that effectively integrate AI technologies, data analysis, and digital tools into pedagogical practice.
