I have organized panels and presented in major academic conferences in the United States, the United Kingdom, mainland China, Germany, and Hong Kong. In my effort to reach out beyond the Ivory Tower, I have also produced general interest publications and given talks at various non-academic platforms on modern Chinese history, world history, and urban history in China and abroad.
